Firefog have installed 2 'K-Range' systems at university test sites located in Liverpool and Birmingham. The test sites are to allow the major university provider to evaluate the systems installation characteristic, useage and overal opreation of the system.

Kitchen fires in halls of residence are a considerable concern for many universities with growing pressures from the Fire Brigade. The Firefog 'K-range' is the total solution for protecting such environments not only safeguarding students and residents alike, but also protecting major infrastructure in the form of halls of residence. The successful trial wil hopefully lead to a significant role out of installations throughout the rest of their estate.

A major university provider has confirmed their intention after further LIVE demo's to specify and place orders for the FIrefog 'K-range' kitchen suppression system.

Budgets are being reviewed to incorporate the 'K-range' into all new halls of residence as well as considering existing 'high risk' buildings within this major university housing provider.

The success of the 'K-range' system is being proven by growing interest from many other university groups, with a further London university expressing interest in a role out program of the 'K-range' system.

Firefog have again provided a LIVE 'K-range' demonstration at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Centre in Liverpool. The Demo was arranged for a Major Housing Association and was also accompanied by several members of the FIre Brigade.

The presentation provides an insight into the characteristics, installation and operation of the 'K-range' Firefog system with the LIVE demo actually demonstrating the operation and effectiveness of the system when actually activated under a real fire condition.

Once again a further sucessfull demonstration was witnessed, with representatives of the Housing Association also considering other systems within the full Firefog range.

FIREfog have offered an effective fire suppression solution to a National Waster Recycler.

Traditionally waste recycling has been plague with fires starting in waste processing plant, leaving staff to deal with or summon the fire bragade accordingly.

With the growth of the recycling industry, fire safety has become an ever increasing problem. Traditional water based systems such as sprinklers have proven not to be affective enough to douse fires when started within waste products such as plastic or other waterproof materials.

FIREfog have designed and provided a suppression system which actually kills fire at it's source, offering a far better solution to other suppression systems.

Tests have proven FIREfog's system in operation, which has been a considerable factor in the Waste Recycler's consideration of the system.

FIREfog's sister company ATTIVO, are already in a role out program to upgrade and raise the standard of fire detection and alarms throughout the Recycling Companies portfolio of sites, and FIREfog's involvement in fire suppression is only building confidence in the groups ability to provide full life and property safety for the future.
